Custom Design

Every great event begins with a beautiful invitation. Krystal Lee Designs create custom-designed event invitations that set the tone, spark excitement, and leave a lasting first impression. Whether you're planning a wedding, birthday, corporate gathering, or milestone celebration, I craft invitations that reflect your unique style and story.

From classic elegance to modern minimalism – or something totally unexpected – I’ll work with you to design invitations that feel personal, polished, and perfectly suited to your event.

The pricing for custom design invitations will vary. There is a design fee. This fee covers the work that is required in bringing your vision to life. This fee varies on the scope of work. This will be communicated and shown in your proposal. Assembly is included. Assembly is the combining of stationery and embellishments to achieve the desired overall look of the end product.

The pricing below is our standard pricing using our in-house papers with flat digital printing. You may upgrade to your liking. The opportunities are endless! Check out our Add-ons page to view options in elevating your invitations.

The Order Process

Step One: Inquiry

Complete the Inquiry Form. You will receive a follow-up email within 1-2 business days. We will schedule a consultation which can be booked in-person if you are within 15 miles of Bellingham, MA, or if outside of the radius, we will meet via Google Meet. Before our meeting, you will be sent an initial questionnaire to complete. This information will assist me with our consultation.

Step Two: Consultation

Here is where I can learn about you the client. We will discuss your stationery needs and expectations and your budget. A proposal based on the information provided will be sent to you within 2-4 business days after the consultation. The proposal will included the total cost and contract.

Step Three: Booking

When you are ready to move forward, the contract must be signed and the non-refundable retainer must be paid in order to be booked. The retainer will be put towards the total balance owed. After receiving both, you will receive access to the client portal. This portal is where everything will be housed, from the contract to the design proofs. No need to go back and forth trying to find things in email. You will be sent a design questionnaire via the portal that asks about the client's event details and design desires. This must be completed in order to move forward with designing.

Step Four: Design

After the design questionnaire is complete, I can begin designing! Mockups are created to match your vision. Mockups will take 7-10 business days to create and will be sent via client portal for review. Once the design is chosen, the client receives five rounds of revisions to perfect the details of the stationery. Once you fall in love with the design, you will say "I do" with a signature approval. This is required before entering production.

Please Note: Clients have unlimited communication with me through out the entire process.

Step Five: Production

Once the design receives your final approval, production will begin. I collaborate with trusted and reliable vendors and printers to bring your stationery to life. After approval, the turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. This turnaround time will vary and may increase depending on the time of year and complexity of the order. This will be discussed and calculated into the timeline.

Step Six: Post-Production

Stationery will be shipped once production is complete and tracking information will be shared. Depending on the details of the order, I will send the appropriate guides that assist you with prepping the invitations for mailing. I am also available to assist with any questions/assitance that is needed.

Only assembly is included.

Wedding Sample Packet

*Wedding Sample Packets will be available starting in January 2026*

A Wedding Sample Packet may be purchased for $29.95. This packet contains paper, invitation, and embellishment samples of services that are offered. For purchasing the sample packet, if you decide to move forward with me as your designer, you will receive a 10% discount from the final invoice.

This discount is for the purchase of invitation only. A minimum order of 50 invitations for the discount to apply.
